AI AGENTS

Custom AI agents that handle work end to end

An AI agent is not a chatbot. It is a piece of software that takes a job — qualify this enquiry, chase this payment, read this document — and carries it through, checking with a person only where it should.

Plain explanation

What is an AI agent, in business terms?

Think of the difference between a calculator and a junior assistant. A calculator answers exactly what you ask, one question at a time. An assistant you can hand a task to: “go through yesterday's enquiries, find the serious ones, draft replies and put anything unusual on my desk.” The assistant works through several steps on their own and comes back when they need you.

An AI agent works like the assistant. You define the job, the rules it must follow, what it is allowed to do on its own, and what needs your approval. It then does that job continuously, without someone remembering to trigger it.

This matters for an MSME because most of your process gaps are not one-step problems. Losing a lead is not a single missed action — it is nobody following up on day three, then day seven, then day fifteen. An agent handles that whole sequence reliably, which is exactly the kind of consistency a busy team cannot maintain.

The important design question is never “how clever can we make it”. It is “where must a human stay in control”. We answer that with you before writing anything.

Agents we build most often

The jobs MSMEs hand to an agent first

📞

Enquiry response agent

Watches WhatsApp, the website form and email. Reads each enquiry, answers the standard questions immediately with correct information from your price list, collects the details your sales team needs, and hands over anything non-standard with a summary attached.

⏳

Follow-up agent

Tracks every open quotation and pending payment. Drafts the right follow-up at the right interval, escalates when a customer goes quiet past your threshold, and stops the moment the deal closes or payment lands.

🗃

Document processing agent

Monitors an inbox or folder for supplier invoices, POs and challans. Extracts the line items, matches them against your purchase orders, flags mismatches and queues clean ones for a single-click approval.

📚

Internal knowledge agent

Trained on your own documents — specifications, price lists, policies, past quotations. Your team asks in plain language and gets the answer with the source attached, instead of calling the one person who knows.

📊

Daily briefing agent

Pulls from your systems overnight and sends you a short brief every morning: what sold, what is stuck, who has not paid, what needs a decision today. Replaces four reports nobody opens.

⚠

Exception-watch agent

Watches for the things that quietly cost money — stock below reorder level, an order past its promised date, a customer over their credit limit, a price below your floor — and raises them to the right person immediately.

Build process

How we build an agent you can actually trust

Define the job and the boundary

We write down exactly what the agent will do, what it will never do, and what it must ask a human about. This document is agreed with you before development starts, and it is the thing we test against later.

Give it your data, not general knowledge

The agent is connected to your price lists, your customer records, your stock and your documents. Answers come with a source, so when it says a rate, you can see where that rate came from.

Run it in shadow mode first

For the first few weeks the agent does the work but nothing goes out without a person approving it. You see exactly how it would have behaved on real cases, and we correct it before it has any real authority.

Release authority gradually

Once you have seen it handle a category correctly over and over, you can let it act on that category alone. Everything else still comes to a person. You control that dial, not us.

Monitor and adjust

Every action the agent takes is logged and reviewable. We check the logs with you in the early months and tighten the rules where reality differs from the plan.

Non-negotiables

What we insist on in every agent we build

  • A written boundary: what the agent may do alone, and what always needs a person
  • A full log of every action, readable by you without our help
  • A visible off switch — you can stop it in one click at any time
  • Sources attached to answers, so nobody has to take the agent's word for it
  • Escalation to a named person when the agent is unsure, rather than a guess
  • No irreversible action — payments, commitments and deletions always need approval
  • Your data stays in your infrastructure or your own cloud account
FAQ

AI agent development — common questions

How is an AI agent different from a chatbot?

A chatbot answers questions in a chat window and forgets about you the moment the conversation ends. It reacts; it does not act.

An agent has a standing job. It works in the background, takes several steps in sequence, uses your systems, and keeps going until the job is done or it needs a person. A chatbot can be one of the ways you talk to an agent, but the agent is the part doing the work.

What if the agent does something wrong?

We design so that this is inconvenient rather than damaging. Agents we build cannot take irreversible actions — no payments, no commitments to customers, no deletions — without a human approving.

Everything it does is logged, so when something looks wrong you can see exactly what it did and why. And there is always an off switch you control.

Do we need to change our existing software to use an agent?

Usually not. Agents work best sitting alongside what you already run, reading from and writing to your existing systems through their interfaces. We have connected agents to Tally, to ERP systems, to Google Sheets and to WhatsApp without replacing any of them.

If a system genuinely has no way in, we will tell you upfront rather than discovering it halfway through.

How long does it take to build an AI agent?

A focused single-job agent — enquiry response or follow-up chasing — typically takes four to six weeks to build, plus a few weeks of shadow running before it has real authority.

More complex agents that touch several systems take longer, and we would break those into phases so you get value from the first phase while the rest is being built.

Can the agent work in Hindi or mixed Hindi-English?

Yes. Most customer conversations in Indian MSMEs happen in a mix, and modern models handle that well. We tune the agent on your actual past conversations so its replies sound like your business rather than a translation.

What does an AI agent cost to run every month?

There are two parts: the AI usage itself, which for typical MSME volumes is modest, and hosting, which is small. We give you an estimated monthly running cost during scoping, based on your actual volumes, so there is no surprise after go-live.

Have a job that never gets done consistently?

That is usually the right first agent. Tell us what it is and we will show you how it would work — and where you would stay in control.
